What Causes Newborns to Have White Hair

Patient's question:

At the age of one and a half, I noticed white hair. Now that I'm over two years old, I've grown over ten white hairs. I don't know what factors or causes this. Thank you.

Doctor's answer:

Hello. If the body is chronically deficient in protein, vegetable oil, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and vitamin B6, it can also cause hair to turn from black to white.
Suggestions: Foods with deep colors (green, red, yellow, purple) contain pigments formed by the interaction of natural plant bodies with sunlight, which can replenish the body's pigments and benefit the health of hair color. Additionally, ensure adequate intake of protein, vitamins, etc. Eat more vegetable oil, less animal fat, and less white sugar. Honey or brown sugar can be used in small amounts as substitutes.
Note: White hair is often caused by a lack of copper (but copper should never be supplemented excessively—food intake is sufficient). Zinc supplementation has no effect.
