Features: On the global design stage today, Finnish design is renowned for its minimalist and elegant style, as well as its unique culture. The history of 20th-century human design civilization would be unimaginable without the Finnish design represented by design master Alvar Aalto. He embodies the Finnish people's reflection on the relationship between the entire Finnish culture, contemporary industrialization, and nature. Since the 1980s, the field of Finnish design has been brimming with talented individuals, with a galaxy of design geniuses shining brightly. Compared to the past, where fewer introductions of Finnish design pioneers were made, we have focused on introducing Finnish designers since the 1980s. While including many top-tier design masters still active in the Finnish design field today, we have also highlighted emerging talents, offering a comprehensive portrayal of Finnish design development in recent ten years. Through our efforts, we hope to leave Chinese readers with a relatively comprehensive impression of contemporary Finnish design.
