Our textbook must reflect the new level of this field today and replace outdated levels. For these three reasons, the second edition has made substantial changes based on the first edition. In summary, the following points can be summarized: First, it reflects the new status of the development of China's engineering network planning technology; Second, the entire book has been standardized using the new "Technical Specification for Engineering Network Planning (JGJ/T1121-99)"; Third, it has added new content and examples of the application of computer technology in network planning, and this is also at the world's leading level. This book is suitable for continuing education needs of professional technical personnel in the construction system, and can also serve as a reference book for various personnel in the construction industry and students in school to study network planning technology and promote the "Technical Specification for Engineering Network Planning."
