Features: QC group activities are a grassroots quality improvement initiative. Participants, due to varying levels of education, starting points, and experience, exhibit differing levels of activity performance and effectiveness. Various issues arise during these activities. The China Quality Association, quality associations across industries and regions, as well as some enterprises, have all organized multiple training sessions for QC group leaders. Statistics show that in 2002, quality associations in various regions and industries nationwide conducted QC group leader training for approximately 4 million people, but this still falls far short of meeting the needs of the broader QC group membership.
