Features: To adapt to the needs of the construction industry's development after China's entry into the WTO, implement the spirit of the "Guidelines on the Implementation of the Vocational Qualification Certificate System for Production and Operation Personnel in the Construction Industry" issued by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and carry out vocational skill training for construction workers, we have organized the writing of the "Construction Vocational Skill Training Textbooks" based on the "National Vocational Standards" for the construction industry jointly reviewed by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, as well as the "Occupational Skill Standards" and "Occupational Skill Job Qualification Norms" issued by the Ministry of Construction. This set of textbooks includes 12 positions, such as masonry workers, plastering workers, concrete workers, steel bar workers, carpenters, painting workers, scaffolding workers, waterproofing workers, testing workers, surveying and setting-out workers, plumbing workers, and construction electricians. On this basis, we have also added the book "Construction Workers' Professional Ethics and Rights Protection." The purpose is to enable workers in these positions to not only master their professional skills but also understand professional ethics norms and how to protect their rights. It is also to support the moral education activities organized by national vocational skill management departments in the construction industry, centered on the theme of "integrity," to meet the urgent needs of vocational skill assessment institutions and training departments. The writing of this training textbook has drawn on the experience of training programs conducted in various regions in recent years, striving to align with the requirements of the construction industry after China's entry into the WTO, fully considering the actual situation of the construction workforce, emphasizing practicality, and focusing on the training requirements of operational skills. The writing style is intended to be in-depth yet easy to understand, making the content scientific, advanced, targeted, and practical. It serves as the textbook for vocational skill training for production and operation personnel in construction.
