This book presents a collated, annotated, and translated edition of Neijing Zhiyao, based on the edition of the Sao Ye Shanfang carved by Xue Xue, a famous physician of the Qing Dynasty, who reprinted it twice. The collation, annotation, and translation were completed with Li Zhongzi's original text as the foundation and extensive reference to relevant works. To facilitate modern readers' access and in light of the significant progress and continuous deepening of Neijing studies to this day, this book, without altering Li Zhongzi's original text, first added chapter numbers to each category, in the order of "Chapter 1 Dao Sheng, Chapter 2 Yin Yang, Chapter 8 Bing Neng"; and secondly, added serial numbers to each section.
