Ontology and Interpretation: A Comparative Study of East and West. Issue 3

Features: The first two issues of Ontology and Interpretation have been published, and the third issue is now about to be released. The title of the first issue is Ontology and Interpretation. The title of the second issue is Onto-Hermeneutics. This issue is titled Ontology and Interpretation: A Comparative Study of East and West. Originally, this issue was planned to focus on the discussion of interpretive theories in Chinese classics. However, as the current academic discourse on the ontology and methodology of interpretation seems to be immature, there is still ample room for theoretical exploration. Strengthening the understanding of ontology and interpretive theories in both the East and West will further stimulate scholars' interest in contemporary East-West interpretive theories. It will also benefit the depth and broader development of Chinese hermeneutics. Naturally, this will also promote scholars' comparative understanding of "Onto-Hermeneutics" and "Philosophical Hermeneutics," as well as their emphasis on the relevance of reconstructing Chinese philosophy and Chinese classical hermeneutics.
