The names include the Chinese name, Latin name, English name, and Japanese name; the origin provides only the main distribution areas and medicinal parts, in addition to the name. The color photographs include both the origin and the medicinal materials and herbal decoctions, emphasizing the colorful photographs of the materials and decoctions, with appropriate magnification for some extremely small fruiting bodies. A total of 1,403 color photographs are included. All the color photographs were taken by the author personally, with correct naming, clear graphics, true colors, and easy identification.
