Publish Date: 2001-09-20
Features: This book adopts a structural approach by isolating key sub-systems that are pivotal in the modern Japanese economic system and discussing them as separate topics. For example, "Main Bank System," "Subcontracting System," "Restructuring of the Financial System," and so on. Readers can explore each topic individually and discover the inherent connections between different topics during their reading. This encourages further exploration of related chapters, broadening their interests and perspectives. One of our primary goals in designing the structure and content of this book was to deepen readers' understanding of the Japanese economy. Additionally, we intentionally dedicated separate chapters to the development processes of important industries such as shipbuilding and electronics engineering. These chapters highlight how Japanese industries have faced challenges, overcome difficulties, and achieved growth despite the struggles of the Japanese economy. We believe that after reading this book, readers will better understand why Japan's real economy is possible and currently on the path to recovery in today's depressed environment.
