Patient's question:
Male, Age: 6Recently, the child has been experiencing appendicitis pressure. The doctor said the small intestine lining is very thin. I don't know how the child's frequent abdominal pain is related to the thin small intestine lining. How does slow small intestine peristalsis lead to pain around the abdomen and stomach pain? Pain caused by excessive yogurt consumption. Previous treatment and effectiveness:...
Doctor's answer:
Not good, check if it is chronic enteritis.(1) Rest appropriately, eat easily digestible foods, and avoid fried and irritating foods.
(2) Use antidiarrheal agents moderately. You can take bismuth subcarbonate 1–2g, three times daily; or camphor tincture 4ml, three times daily.
(3) Use antispasmodic agents. You can take atropine 0.3–0.6mg, three times daily; or propantheline 15mg, three times daily.
Recommendations:
(4) Antibiotics should be determined based on bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests, but the condition may persist for a long time. You can also use a 3% berberine solution or a 5–10g garlic extract solution (200ml) for retention enema, once daily, with a course of 10–20 days. Other treatments are the same as for acute enteritis.
(5) For psychogenic nausea and vomiting, you can take Librium 10mg, three times daily; or phenobarbital 15–30mg, three times daily.
