Features: With the continuous improvement of legal education levels, reforms in classroom teaching methods are becoming increasingly profound. These reforms are particularly prominent in safety teaching, leading to a growing demand for corresponding safety textbooks. To this end, the authorities in judicial education and the press jointly organized experts and scholars from national law schools to compile this series of safety textbooks. This textbook is currently the only unified case-based teaching material organized and reviewed by the authorities in legal education in China, possessing high authority. Since 1986, China University of Political Science and Law Press has been dedicated to planning and publishing case textbooks suitable for undergraduate students to read. The authors believe this is a highly visionary and practically significant endeavor. At the invitation of the press, Wang Ze and others from the Civil Law Graduate Program of the Law School of Renmin University of China collaborated on writing this book. In terms of content and format, it offers fresh perspectives. The preliminary draft of this book was completed in September 1997, and all the safety cases selected are actual cases from the People's Courts. Although their judgments were based on the original Three Major Contract Laws, the authors of this book have provided interpretations and evaluations in reference to the newly promulgated Unified "Contract Law," which is beneficial for readers to understand the "Contract Law" and compare it with the old and new contract laws. More importantly, while providing detailed information, this book also serves to inspire readers to expand their thinking.
