Features: The publication of this list aims to provide a pathway and tool for customs enforcement personnel at ports, intellectual property rights holders, intellectual property agencies, foreign trade and production enterprises, and other relevant units to understand information on intellectual property customs protection filings. We sincerely hope that the publication of this list will help strengthen the enforcement of intellectual property rights by customs authorities, enhance public awareness of intellectual property protection, and reduce and curb incidents of infringement of others' intellectual property rights in import and export processes. At the same time, we hope that foreign trade and production units can, through this list, gain an early understanding of the intellectual property status of their import and export goods and take reasonable precautions, thereby resolving civil disputes through appropriate channels in advance and avoiding greater economic losses and legal consequences caused by importing or exporting infringing goods. This list collects information on customs protection filings for more than 3,400 registered trademarks, copyrights, patents, and Olympic symbols that were approved by the General Administration of Customs and remained valid from October 1, 1995, when the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Customs Protection of Intellectual Property" took effect, to October 31, 2002. Filings approved by the General Administration of Customs after October 31, 2002, and those that had expired before October 31, 2002, are not included in this collection.
