Features: "Diary" is inherently a matter of absolute personal privacy. However, Tie Ning has always been distinctive, and so is her diary. When the world's attention is more focused on the "North Korean nuclear crisis" and "Hallyu" on the Korean Peninsula, this book, "Tie Ning's Diary – Things in Seoul," opens another window into South Korea for us. I haven't written in a diary for a long time, but this year's trip to South Korea made me record some people and events in the form of a diary again. I also recalled the frantic rush at Incheon Airport in the morning, as if it were an unexpected "encounter" during a family outing. Perhaps such an "encounter" is better than a reserved or sorrowful farewell between hosts and guests, and it can also provide a lively topic for the next meeting. I have always believed that the sadness or warmth of parting with a friend is best interrupted by some kind of unexpected incident, of course, an incident that should be thrilling yet harmless.
