In recent years, with the rapid development of imaging diagnosis technology and the increasing awareness of health, the incidence of kidney surgical diseases, especially kidney tumors, has shown an annual upward trend. Alongside this, significant progress has been made in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney surgical diseases in recent years, such as the application of laparoscopy in kidney surgery and the biological treatment of renal cell carcinoma. In light of this situation, we have compiled this book based on years of experience in diagnosing and treating kidney surgical diseases at Beijing Friendship Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, combining the work experience of other institutions. The book is divided into eight sections and thirty-six chapters, utilizing extensive clinical data from Beijing Friendship Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University. It provides detailed explanations of various kidney surgical diseases from aspects such as etiology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment, and comprehensively introduces new technologies, theories, research progress, and their applications in the field of kidney surgery in recent years, based on domestic and international literature and clinical experience. Due to the limited experience and expertise of our team, errors may inevitably occur. We sincerely hope that colleagues in urology will provide valuable feedback.
