Features: J.D. Salinger was extremely cautious and never revealed details of his personal life. Now, this biography of Salinger tells the life story of this famous American literary recluse. This book accurately portrays both the ordinary and iconic aspects of Salinger, showing how his life overlaps with his works. It also uncovers the introspective spirit that gradually deepens in his novels as Salinger retreats into reclusion. Salinger was the kind of person who, at a young age, chose a "frozen" lifestyle that no longer developed. But he carried this feeling within him for half a century.
