Features: It is a great pleasure to hear that the translation of Gynecological Surgery is completed. Director Fang Xiaoping invited me to write the preface, and I had the opportunity to read it in advance. I am delighted with the book's fluent writing style, which truly embodies the essence of "faithfulness, expressiveness, and elegance" in translation. Moreover, the chapters covered in this book are mostly classic and latest research progress in gynecological surgery. After reading it, I felt compelled to add a few words as a preface. The lead translator, Professor Fang Xiaoping, studied under the renowned gynecological and obstetric expert Professor Su Yingkuan of our country and has been engaged in clinical and research work in gynecology and obstetrics for over 20 years, possessing extensive clinical experience and a solid theoretical foundation. The young and middle-aged doctors of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University completed the translation of this book in just 6 months amidst their busy work, and I deeply admire their enthusiasm for the task. The content of this book is quite extensive, with a vast amount of information, covering all aspects of gynecological surgery and accompanied by numerous illustrations, making it an excellent reference book for gynecologists and obstetricians at all levels in our country. Since the MMK operation was proposed in 1949, more than 50 years have passed without any truly new surgical procedures being introduced in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. I hope that the publication of the Chinese translation of Gynecological Surgery will help to spark a wave of research on gynecological surgery in the field of gynecology and obstetrics in our country.
