Content: Yingzhong is driving her Japanese car swiftly on the New Jersey highway. It's almost five o'clock; if she doesn't speed up, she might encounter morning or evening traffic congestion. After passing Exit 134, she sighs with relief. Just one more mile, and she'll be home—no, Sister Huizhong's home. She's coming back from school. During the summer vacation of the Canal Year, she came to the U.S. to visit her sister and brother-in-law from Taiwan. She didn't plan to stay and study, but accidentally met a middle school classmate who told her that it was very easy to apply to Stevens University nearby. The university accepts all Taiwanese university graduates because it has some financial issues. Yingzhong decided to give it a try and was accepted. So she stayed and took a few computer courses. Since learning computer science from scratch isn't too expensive, she found it quite enjoyable after six months. She thought that if she studied it for another year, she might be able to find a job.
