Features: Bai Xueshi was born in Beijing in 1915. In 1933, he became a disciple of Liang Shuinei. In 1958, he taught at Beijing Art Normal College, and in 1964, he transferred to the Central Academy of Arts and Design. He is currently a professor at the Central Academy of Arts and Design and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. After 1973, he traveled multiple times to places like Huangshan, Taishan, and Lijiang to sketch, gathering extensive creative material. He has held painting exhibitions in Japan four times, in Hong Kong three times, and published albums of his works. He has also participated in painting exhibitions in the United States and held a solo exhibition in Singapore. His works are characterized by rich brushwork and vibrant artistic spirit. His depictions of Jiangnan scenery are fresh, lively, and poetic, fully reflecting the author's genuine love for the motherland's landscape.
