1. Patients with refractory generalized epilepsy who have difficulty controlling seizures with long-term medication;

3. Patients with definite electroencephalogram (EEG) abnormalities and an intelligence quotient (IQ) of 70 or higher;
4. Patients with prolonged epilepsy who have been ruled out for intracranial space-occupying lesions through various examinations.
