Features: Mr. Qian said it well, marriage is a besieged fortress—those outside want to get in, and those inside want to get out. Why do they want to get out? Clearly, things aren’t going well inside. Some people want to get in because of illusions, but once those illusions are shattered, marriage becomes a graveyard for love. Divorce then becomes a consideration. Divorce always has unavoidable reasons. Applying economic principles, it’s like the use value has been fully amortized, the value depreciated to zero. When the cost of cooperation exceeds the loss after separation, then, to maintain stable growth in life’s GDP, divorce is the economic choice. Every day, many people get divorced, but at the same time, many people get married. There’s as much divorce as there is marriage, just like in this world, there’s as much birth as there’s death—it’s natural. Marriage itself isn’t about right or wrong, success or failure. It’s just a contract that formalizes the collaboration of two architects, and since each architect has a different style, in the end, some build heaven, while others build graves. So, whether you go to heaven or to a grave, whether you get married or not, whether you divorce or not—it all depends on you. There’s a saying among the people that harmonious couples tend to look alike. Many couples in life do indeed resemble each other. In a crowd of strangers, you’ll naturally pair them up, even though their heights and builds vary greatly, but their gestures, expressions, and word choices often share common traits. Perhaps it’s these shared habits and personalities that give their appearances a sense of resemblance. No matter how different two people are, living together day in and day out inevitably leads to mutual influence and gradual convergence. Once this shared world takes shape, it becomes very strong. Although many people have the instinct to grow tired of the old and embrace the new, few truly manage to break the old and create the new at the level of marriage. Because marriage isn’t just an emotional issue—it’s a way of life that transforms those who create it. No one can escape marriage. Every marriage faces problems, whether it’s this issue or that. Every marriage rolls through a minefield. Can we avoid divorce? Of course, we can. When you ask yourself this question, it means there are already positive factors in your marriage, and there’s potential for improvement. It’s better not to divorce.
Can we not leave?
