What are the treatment methods for pediatric enuresis?

Patient's question:

My daughter is five years old. She sleeps very soundly in the afternoon, and then she doesn't wake up when she needs to go to the bathroom. She also frequently wets the bed. I have discussed this issue with her, and she says that she just can't get up and that she doesn't even know she has wet the bed. The help I am seeking: What are the treatment methods for pediatric enuresis?

Doctor's answer:

Treating pediatric enuresis, traditional Chinese medicine follows the principle of tonifying the kidneys and strengthening the brain, with appropriate medication often yielding good results. I have three formulas that have been effective every time they are used, hoping to alleviate the physical and mental suffering of both the enuretic children and their parents.
Formula 1: Astragalus 15g, Euonymus alatus 15g, Codonopsis 20g, Atractylodes macrocephala 10g, Rosae Rugosae Fructus 10g, Alisma orientale 10g, and Polygala 10g.
Preparation and Dosage: Decoction, once daily, divided into two doses.
Formula 2: Euonymus and Alisma orientale in equal amounts. Grind into a fine powder, mix with Chinese yam powder to form pills. Take 12g–18g daily, divided into two doses.
Formula 3: White ginkgo nuts (amount sufficient), Alisma orientale 6g, and one egg.
Preparation and Dosage: Grind the herbs into a fine powder, make a small hole in the egg, fill it with the powder, and cook. Consume two eggs daily, in two doses.
