How is optic atrophy treated?

Patient's question:

On November 2009, after being accidentally poked by a child's finger in the left eye, my vision suddenly dropped, as if a curtain was being drawn from top to bottom within a week, completely obscuring the vision, making it extremely blurry (treatment with hormones and intravenous fluids yielded no results, and even the provincial hospital could not reach a conclusion);
On January 9, 2011, the right eye began to experience vision blurriness similar to the left eye, and as if a curtain was being drawn from right to left, it blocked the lower half of the eye. After receiving treatment locally for 6 days, on January 15, I was diagnosed with the same condition as described above. After admission, treatments such as Shuxuetong and Compound Camphor Alkali were administered for 10 days. Once the initial expansion was halted, I was discharged (on January 26) and prescribed intravenous fluids and oral medications for 10 days to nourish the optic nerve and blood vessels.
To preserve the current weak vision, what follow-up treatments and precautions should I take? Please advise! Thank you!

Doctor's answer:

It has been found that the earlier the treatment for optic atrophy begins, the better the results. The longer the treatment duration, the more effective it is. The United Concordance Brightness Granules are composed of a combination of dozens of precious Chinese herbal medicines. The excellent ingredients of United Concordance Brightness Granules integrate three effects—permeation, repair, and activation—into one. From the inside out, the treatment is synchronized both internally and externally, surpassing the effects of treating both the symptoms and the root cause. While enhancing the eye's resistance and immunity, it can rapidly repair damaged retinas, restoring the eyes to their normal physiological functions. In terms of treatment, regardless of the length of medical history or the strength of vision, the best and most thorough recovery results can be achieved in the shortest possible time.
