Little Red Cap One day, Little Red Cap went to visit her sick grandmother. On the way, she met a wolf, who tricked her into leading her deep into the forest while he rushed ahead to her grandmother's house and ate her grandmother. Later, the wolf ate Little Red Cap too. A passing hunter heard strange snoring sounds and entered the house, only to find the evil wolf sleeping in bed. The hunter killed the wolf, cut open its belly with scissors, and rescued Little Red Cap and her grandmother.
Doctor Know-All This story tells of a poor farmer who pretended to be a doctor and caught a thief. The thief was one of several servants of a rich man. Mistakenly believing the farmer knew the truth, the thief confessed his crimes.
Comprehension Checkup II Rumpelstiltskin Once, a king ordered the farmer's daughter to turn straw into gold. The girl finally broke free from her misfortune with the help of a ugly little dwarf and became a queen. But she did not keep her promise to give him her children. The dwarf told the queen that the only solution was to reveal his name. In the end, with the help of an envoy, the queen correctly said the dwarf's name.
