Albumin/Globulin 2.51, ALT 88

Doctor's answer:

Mainly to correct hypoxemia and treat the primary liver disease. It has been reported that oxygen therapy and hyperbaric oxygen chambers may correct hypoxemia in early patients. For intrapulmonary anatomical shunts, such as arteriovenous malformations, interventional methods can be used, where spring coils, gelatin sponge emboli, etc., are placed to block the shunt, improve oxygenation, correct hypoxemia, and avoid surgery. Liver transplantation can improve hypoxemia and is an effective treatment for HPS; drug therapy can also be tried with amiloride dimethylsuccinate, 50–100 mg orally, 2–3 times/d, for a duration of 3–5 weeks, which can improve the ventilation/perfusion ratio and increase PaO2; in addition, drugs such as indomethacin, octreotide, and garlic can also be tried, though their efficacy remains to be further confirmed.
