Features: This "Story of Guanyin Bodhisattva" is based on the original work by the pseudonymous Master of the Lotus Chamber titled "The Life of Guanyin." To cater to the reading habits of contemporary readers, the editor has made some refinements to the text in the original work. Since the introduction of Buddhism into China during the Han Dynasty, Guanyin, originally a Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, has achieved unprecedented veneration in China. Over the subsequent thousand-plus years of historical changes, the Guanyin faith has had a profound impact on both China's indigenous religions and folk beliefs. At the same time, the content of the Guanyin faith has continuously evolved under the influence of China's indigenous culture, gradually becoming the core of Chinese folk belief.
