Features: Based on previous research, the author has for the first time established a theoretical analytical framework for the interactive development of industrialization and urbanization. Starting from specialized economy and agglomeration economy, the internal mechanisms of the interactive development between industrialization and urbanization are analyzed, proposing four influencing factors, three basic elements, and an energy agglomeration model for the interactive development. The four influencing factors—basic conditions, government guidance, market development and demand, and technological progress—are the driving forces and conditions for the development of industrialization and urbanization, as well as the main factors in forming the interactive development model of industrialization and urbanization. The three basic elements—mobility, agglomeration, and innovation—are the fundamental links in the interactive development of industrialization and urbanization. Their combined effect determines the quality and speed of the interactive development, with the results reflected by the degree of energy agglomeration. It can be said that this theory is still immature, but at least it provides a preliminary analytical framework for the interactive development of industrialization and urbanization.
