Appointment with Success: Emotional Intelligence Manifesto

Author: Tanaka Yasuyuki
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-05-01
Features: One of the distinctive features is the detailed description of the author's own failures, along with an analysis of them. In fact, "as long as you don't give up, there is no failure," which is precisely the power of emotional intelligence. As an example, the author's own experience with failure may be somewhat reference-worthy. In this book, to prove the relationship between motivation (drive) and success, the author enthusiastically studied theories such as C.S. Hall's motivation theory, Freud's psychoanalytic theory, Atkinson's achievement motivation theory, J.B. Rotter's social learning theory, Kurt Lewin's "field" theory, A. Maslow's need theory, and Allport's humanistic psychology. Combining personal successful experiences and practical foundations, the author revised past writings to introduce new success practice techniques. However, when quoting these scholars' theories on the relationship between motivation and success in the original text, to be honest, it's quite dry. Ironically, even a single reading of the word "motivation" often disappears into thin air.
