Features: Globalization primarily refers to the free flow of goods, capital, information, and people (partially) on a global scale, and the rational allocation of economic factors worldwide. The significant progress made in globalization over the past decade owes much to rapid technological advancements and a favorable international political and security environment. Overall, these supporting factors for globalization have not fundamentally changed. After a decade of rapid advancement in the post-Cold War era, globalization has now entered a phase of digestion, adjustment, and deepening. In the next five to ten years, whether globalization can continue to advance depends on whether major countries can effectively cooperate, coordinate policies, overcome their mutual interests conflicts, and effectively address the negative effects brought by globalization. In a nutshell, creating an effective governance model that adapts to the new realities of globalization determines its future and destiny. Summarizing the lessons from history and reality, we can see that the view that the wave of globalization is unstoppable and irreversible is clearly overly optimistic.
