Features: Heroes are individuals with extraordinary talents and achievements. This definition applies to both humans and animals. The stories of heroes often capture the keen interest of listeners. In this book, every character in the stories originates from a real animal hero. A poor cat who despises aristocratic life, the chronicles of a pigeon living on a rooftop, a large black wolf who survives traps and rifles, a fierce mountain lion like a tiger and a boy, a leaping white lynx, a wolf cub of a huge gray wolf surrounded by dozens of dogs, and a king of trained deer racing past. Here, the stories of a cat, a dog, a pigeon, a lynx, two wolves, and a trained deer are told. These are real stories that take place in the jungle. Those wild animal owners, whether in terms of size, experience, or wisdom, are the best in their kind. They face not only the increasingly harsh natural environment but also have to fight against enemies, including the pursuit and extermination by humans. To survive and reproduce, they need to constantly migrate, fight, and struggle, only to survive in danger. They are true animal heroes. Although they are incredibly wise and possess the same desires and emotions as humans, their ultimate life outcomes are still so unpredictable and full of peril. The author is a famous naturalist and biologist who uses the rigorous and meticulous observations of a biologist and the passionate yet slightly melancholic touch of a writer to guide us into a real animal world, sharing joy and sorrow with those admirable and lovable creatures.
