Features: Business research is an emerging interdisciplinary field. Its fundamental theories, methods, and techniques come from disciplines such as economics, management, marketing, statistics, sociology, psychology, and information science. Through the re-creation of theoretical researchers and the application and validation by practical workers, business research has become a relatively systematic body of knowledge. However, there are still few specialized books on this topic in China. People often draw knowledge about business research from writings in related fields such as social surveys, statistics, marketing, and information management. This book aims to fill this gap. The revision and updates are concentrated in the following aspects: , some case studies in the main text have been updated. Second, the collection methods and techniques for secondary and primary data related to network technology have been supplemented and revised. Third, the content on using computer software for data processing has been adjusted from a general introduction to database and spreadsheet techniques to an introduction to the use of statistical software packages, such as SPSS. Fourth, the content on the status of China's business research industry has been supplemented and revised based on recent developments. Finally, and also the most important work of this revision, an appendix with case studies as the main focus has been added after the main text. The book covers topics such as Introduction to Business Research, Causal Research, Design of Survey Instruments, Sampling Design, Quantitative Analysis, and Some Management Issues in Business Research.
