Features: Floral patterns are one of the most important and widely used themes and content in modern graphic design. The design and application of floral patterns have a long history in China. As early as the famous Dunhuang ceiling patterns from the Northern and Southern Dynasties period, floral patterns occupied a significant proportion. In terms of shape and color application, they were truly exquisite. For example, the lotus patterns, scroll patterns, and their ingenious designs with orderly interweaving, as well as the elegant, stable, and layered color schemes, were all remarkable. The design of floral patterns is fundamentally consistent with the methods and steps of animal patterns, human figure patterns, and landscape patterns. It must go through steps such as observation and sketching, basic shape training, the organization of isolated patterns, the organization of two-dimensional continuous patterns, the organization of suitable patterns, and the organization of four-dimensional continuous patterns to form a complete pattern design system. This system is achieved through training that progresses from simple to complex. This is also a practical learning method.
