The qualification examination is a test of the practical working ability of practitioners, a process of selecting talents, and also a process of improving knowledge level and comprehensive quality. The examination syllabus is a guiding document for setting examination questions and serves as the basis for review and preparation for professional technical personnel in key positions of construction project general contracting and construction management. The compilation of this syllabus strives to start from actual conditions, focusing on testing the candidates' ability to solve practical problems. The compilation of the examination syllabus follows the guiding principle of embodying "five characteristics" and adhering to "six combinations," namely, embodying "comprehensiveness, practicality, generality, internationality, and foresight"; adhering to "combining with the positioning of construction engineers, combining with the professional discipline settings of universities, combining with the current engineering construction standards, combining with the current laws and regulations, combining with international common practices, and combining with the balanced transition of the current project manager qualification management to the construction engineer qualification system."
Comprehensiveness: Covers building engineering, civil engineering, and process-oriented industrial engineering.
Practicality: The ability to solve and handle on-site practical problems.
