Features: "The Weekly Plan for Junior High School Chinese Reading and Writing" consists of ten series. The editorial committee of the series adheres to the principles of practicality and richness in writing, focusing on knowledge accumulation and language sense cultivation, closely aligning with the new curriculum standards. It selects various types of texts suitable for junior high school students to read, compiling materials for Chinese reading and writing. Under a scientific and reasonable schedule, students can acquire more knowledge and gain deeper insights. The series is not only of great importance for students' self-study and parental guidance but also provides valuable reference for teachers' instruction. According to learning stages, teaching progress, and requirements, the series is divided into 50 weeks, with 5 weeks per series. Each day features a different format:
Monday [Prepare for Basic Knowledge] focuses on four themes: "Knowledge Warehouse," "Idiom Stories," "Literary Figures," and "Biographical Quick Reads," primarily summarizing, comparing, and organizing knowledge that junior high students need to memorize.
Tuesday [Explore Poems, Prose, and Rhymes] "Classical Charm" selects must-remember classical Chinese poems and texts under the new curriculum standards, providing explanations for key words and concise, clear annotations. Additionally, to enhance students' poetic appreciation skills and expand their reading, "New Branches of Willow" features selected modern and contemporary Chinese poems as well as foreign poems.
Wednesday [Appreciate Contemporary and Classic Prose] selects exquisite prose suitable for junior high school students, including narrative and lyrical essays, as well as Chinese and foreign science and technology texts. The selections are broad in scope and thought-provoking. To help students better understand the texts, "Savoring the Essence" and "Sharpening Thinking" are included after each article.
Thursday [Review Masterpieces by Renowned Authors] connects 50 masterpieces with the curriculum, introducing and guiding the reading of Chinese and foreign masterpieces related to the textbook content. This helps students maximize the extension and expansion of classroom knowledge within limited extracurricular reading time.
Friday [Comprehend Life's Philosophy] offers numerous vivid and interesting stories along with insightful comments, allowing readers to gain beneficial enlightenment through relaxed reading, learn to face various life challenges with composure, and more deeply understand and grasp life.
Saturday [Write Creative Essays] focuses on "Appreciating Masterpieces" and "Creative Expression," featuring five columns: "Writing Inspiration," "Expanding Ideas," "Decoding Essay Topics," "Teacher-Student Q&A," and "Comparative Evaluation." This closely integrates reading and writing, with topic selection linked to the junior high school entrance examination, including a "Junior High Entrance Exam Review."
