Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee decided to introduce a national unified examination on comprehensive academic level for applicants with equivalent academic standing. Starting from September 1, 1999, applicants for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing must obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level" in the relevant discipline to meet the prerequisite for obtaining the master's degree. The purpose of the comprehensive academic level examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the conferment of master's degrees to applicants with equivalent academic standing, and it is an important part of the national examination organized by the state to assess the knowledge structure and level of applicants for master's degrees. In 1999, we organized experts to write and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level for Applicants with Equivalent Academic Standing in Philosophy." Over the past five years, based on the suggestions of a large number of candidates and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of the unified examination. This book is available for reference by universities and colleges for teaching and tutoring purposes, and can also serve as a reference for candidates to review and prepare for the examination.
