"The Guide" covers the following five courses: Principles of Marxist Philosophy, Principles of Marxist Political Economy, Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the Theory of the "Three Represents," and Contemporary World Economy and Politics. The guidance for each course consists of three main parts:
1. "Theoretical Review Guidance" section, which includes an overview of basic content (basic knowledge and principles), key review points, and review tips, aiming to help candidates grasp the systematic theory while focusing on key points and understanding issues that require special attention during the review.
2. "Practical Operation Practice" section, which provides examples of multiple-choice questions, multiple-choice questions, and analysis questions based on the content of each chapter and past exam situations. The selection of question types is designed to be as typical, representative, and practical as possible, helping candidates to apply knowledge flexibly and improve their ability to solve problems.
3. "Review and Reflection Questions" section, which summarizes the key content of each chapter in a question-based format, requiring candidates to reflect on the key content and issues of each chapter, think independently, answer questions by themselves, and assess their review effectiveness to determine further efforts. This is a self-summarizing, self-solving, and self-testing review process. Additionally, after each part (each course), there is an analysis of different types of questions. Some important and representative questions of various types are selected, and in addition to providing correct answers, the guide further analyzes the problem-solving approach and methodology, explaining why certain answers are correct while others are not, to guide candidates in correctly solving various types of questions.
"The Guide" pays special attention to and emphasizes the following issues:
1. Highlighting the systematicity and comprehensiveness of the theory. To help candidates review systematically, the guide does not simply pile up problem-solving methods but combines points and surfaces through various forms of discussions and problem-solving to accurately and comprehensively reproduce the basic content of the political theory exam scope, introducing the basic knowledge and theories of each discipline, and providing candidates with systematic rather than fragmented knowledge and key points. This is extremely important. Without a holistic and comprehensive understanding of the content of the political theory course, it is impossible to grasp its essence.
2. On the basis of comprehensiveness and systematicity, highlight key content and emphasize the mastery of essential knowledge points, guiding candidates to focus on the main issues and expand their understanding, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their review. For this purpose, detailed discussions are provided for key issues in each chapter, along with highlights of important points to note.
3. Adhering to the spirit of "keeping pace with the times" by "focusing on the application of Marxist theory, the theoretical reflection on practical issues, and the new practice and development," the guide strengthens the mastery of theory and the connection to practice. Through various question types, it inspires candidates to think independently and improve their ability to apply theory to practice, skillfully using the basic stance, viewpoints, and methods of Marxism to observe and solve practical issues in China's reform and opening-up and modernization, as well as various economic, political, and cultural issues in the contemporary world.
4. While imparting knowledge and introducing theories, the guide consistently emphasizes guidance on learning and review methods, which, to a certain extent, is even more important for candidates.
