Features: With the deepening of judicial reform, the disclosure of court judgments has been included as one of the contents of judicial openness. This initiative helps improve the quality of judgment documents, facilitates public access and supervision, and also has positive significance for improving legislation, enhancing judicial practice, and advancing legal teaching and research. As a bridge between the court and readers, we have cooperated with courts across various regions to edit and publish the serial publication Selected Court Judgments of the People's Courts. This series is edited by the higher people's courts of each province, autonomous region, and municipality directly under the Central Government, and is published in chronological order. The series began in 2000 and will be published annually or biannually in each province, autonomous region, and municipality thereafter. The series includes judgment documents, ruling documents, and mediation documents created by the higher people's courts of each province, autonomous region, and municipality, as well as selected intermediate or primary courts. The features of the included documents are relatively typical cases, clear and concise case descriptions, accurate determination of facts and application of law, and guidance value. The editorial format of the series is as follows: 1. Judgment documents are divided into criminal, civil (including economic, intellectual property, etc.), administrative, and state compensation categories, with further subcategories under each. Criminal cases are arranged according to the order of the Criminal Code of the People's Republic of China; civil cases are arranged according to the classification order of the Provisional Classification of Civil Case Causes issued by the Supreme People's Court in October 2000; administrative cases are arranged by department while also considering content; state compensation cases are divided into administrative compensation and judicial compensation. 2. Within the same category of cases, ruling documents are listed before judgment documents, and then in chronological order. 3. For the same case, judgment documents from higher courts are listed before those from lower courts. We have made our initial attempt to edit such a large series, and any shortcomings are welcome to be pointed out by readers for valuable suggestions and opinions.
