The book is titled "Research on the Criminal Execution System" because what is involved here is not merely the system of the execution of punishment as stipulated in the Criminal Law and the Criminal Procedure Law, but also the system of conditional release outside prison as stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Law and the Prison Law. These systems all fall within the scope of criminal execution systems and should be studied as a whole. The system of capital punishment execution is a part that the book consciously ignores, as capital punishment is a method of punishment that deprives the life of the criminal and is a form of extreme penalty. Research on capital punishment should be a specialized topic, and it is difficult to fully address this important issue in this book. In our original intention, of course, we hope to make this book more profound, broader, and higher in level, and to provide some reference value for the theoretical research on criminal law and the practical work of criminal justice in our country.
