Features: Administrative Law is a textbook designed for the core undergraduate law program course—Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law. It can also be used as a teaching material for postgraduate students in the legal master's program studying administrative law courses. Administrative law is an important legal department within the national legal system, regulating social relationships arising from the exercise of public administrative power. Due to the frequent, broad, and direct impact and involvement of public administrative power on the rights and interests of citizens, legal persons, and other organizations, administrative law has become a highly universal, close, and significant applied law in people's lives. Moreover, modern administrative law holds a unique value and plays an important role in regulating the exercise of government public power, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons, or other organizations. It is gratifying that since the reform and opening-up, especially in recent years, the Party and the State have proposed the grand goals of implementing the rule of law strategy, building a socialist rule-of-law state, and comprehensively advancing the rule of law in public administration and the construction of a rule-of-law government. These initiatives have provided strong support for the development of administrative law and the study of administrative law theory at the current stage in China. Administrative law has also increasingly emerged as a "preeminent discipline" due to its vigorous development, and the enthusiasm of young students in universities studying administrative law and applying for postgraduate studies in administrative law has been on the rise. To meet the teaching needs of administrative law and administrative procedure law in the new century and new stage, the editors have, on the basis of a serious summary of their long-term theoretical research and teaching experience in administrative law, adhered to the basic principle of combining inheritance with innovation. They are committed to reflecting the intrinsic requirements of disciplinary development in the era, focusing on absorbing the new achievements of contemporary domestic and international administrative law theoretical research, striving to draw from the strengths of various schools, integrating and refining them, and forming distinctive features. By leveraging collective strength, they have compiled this Administrative Law.
