Features: Introduction to Public Administration is a textbook written for undergraduate university students and can also serve as a foundational reading material or training textbook for party and government cadres and civil servants. While the book also uses administrative elements as its organizational framework, it is not simply a list of administrative elements but rather follows an inherent logic: What can the government manage, what should the government manage, who should manage, how should it manage, and why should it manage. The book strives to provide an accurate and comprehensive introduction to the basic knowledge, concepts, and principles of public administration, without intending to mislead students with my limited views. Although there are some elaborations and expressions of personal opinions, they are written in light of the national context, like insects gnawing on rotten wood, occasionally forming words, which readers can dismiss with a smile, considering them insignificant. The book aims to compile the strengths of research from various domestic and international scholars, drawing from the essence of diverse perspectives. However, due to my limited knowledge, I often have a narrow view, inevitably missing out on many details and risking ridicule from experts. With my limited expertise and writing skills, I can only write in a simple manner, striving to make the content both profound and accessible, clear and easy to understand.
