Features: Color is the most direct way of non-verbal communication. Our natural reactions to color are similar to how humans have always had a certain understanding and perception of color during the course of evolution, partly because our ancestors relied on their judgment of color to determine what to consume or avoid, thus surviving. Color has always been used to express thoughts and emotions, and in a sense, no other design element can achieve this. Moreover, whether in print, on screens, or on a supermarket shelf, color can play the role of a direct attention-grabber. In this regard, color is a highly important aspect of contemporary design. We all naturally have preferences for color, which influences our decisions when dealing with it. At the same time, the choice of color also depends on the entire cultural norms around us and our understanding of color application. Four-color printing, which is relatively low in cost, means that only relatively simple printing can be done. However, it can distinguish different information and enhance the overall design effect. Therefore, four-color printing is an important medium for conveying original information. Color can convey a powerful graphic design language or support graphic design. For whatever reason, if a designer wants to apply color appropriately, they must understand the entire color system to make their work more outstanding. This book provides detailed background knowledge about color, helping designers better understand, apply, and make correct color decisions.
