Many of the entries' analyses can be considered as excellent short essays. Here, both the author's modest academic style and his profound mastery in academia are reflected. Finally, when summarizing the theory of tonal word formation in Chinese from a theoretical perspective, the author, with access to abundant materials, was able to present arguments that were both insightful and persuasive. Especially when demonstrating the existence of tonal word formation in ancient Chinese from multiple angles, the evidence was sufficient, providing a credible answer to a debated issue that had persisted for centuries. This reflects the author's strong theoretical background.
