Features: Selecting and cultivating outstanding talents for the nation is the primary task of universities, and the reform of university admission systems is also a crucial issue in higher education reform. The attempt by Tsinghua University's "Network Evaluation" aims to utilize modern information technology, especially computer and network technology, to establish a distinct communication method between Tsinghua and some high schools, making beneficial explorations for implementing quality-oriented education and promoting the reform of talent evaluation mechanisms. According to modern educational psychology theory, innovative individuals generally possess a strong "self-actualization" desire and ability. However, the "once-in-a-lifetime exam determines everything" evaluation system indeed fails to provide students with sufficient opportunities and space to showcase their thoughts, talents, personalities, and innovative potential. This is detrimental to universities' selection of innovative talents and also hinders the cultivation of students' positive innovative psychological qualities.
