Features: When the first edition of "The Most Influential Women in History" was published, it immediately sparked considerable controversy. The debate centered around which women should be included in the book and which should not. The intensity of the debate was even somewhat heated. I once consulted a professor who specializes in women's issues, and her answer was blunt: "Frankly, I believe your plan is misleading, and the criticism it will attract will exceed your imagination." This revision incorporated the corresponding modifications and corrections. The following women have been added to the book: civil rights leader Ella Baker, female political candidate Carol Channing, Princess Diana, actress Marilyn Monroe, writer Toni Morrison, former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, medieval French poet Christine de Pizan, writer Gertrude Stein, journalist and feminist Gloria Steinem, Burmese political leader Aung San Suu Kyi, prohibition movement leader Frances Willard, talk show host and businesswoman Oprah Winfrey. Additionally, I have updated the portraits of some women in the book, the most notable of which is Hillary R. Clinton. Furthermore, I have added relevant content to the introductions of women such as Eleanor Roosevelt and Supreme Court Justices. The names of the newly added women have been included on the honor roll.
