Features: The core of sex education is not the education of sex knowledge, but personality education. People with healthy personalities are responsible—they are responsible to themselves, to others, to society, and to life! First, this is indeed a fact: there are more and more middle school students engaging in sexual relationships, a reality that people are reluctant to face but cannot deny; second, blindly engaging in sex as a middle school student may lead to pregnancy or even infection with sexually transmitted diseases or AIDS, which is also a fact. In China, how to provide sex education to adolescents is a challenge that often puts many parents and teachers in an awkward situation. Through in-depth interviews and scientific analysis of the sexual experiences of 13 middle school students, the author points out: sex education is a compulsory course for children, sex education is a lifelong learning process, and the core of sex education is personality education. The author strongly calls for "sunny law" sex education, which means promoting scientific, systematic, and open sex education in China.
