Publish Date: 2007-01-01
Features: After entering university, I felt the world of art was even broader, and many things were so fresh. There, I systematically studied the theory and practical knowledge of art. Gradually, I developed my own preferred art forms and expression methods. Compared to other courses, I was more interested in painting classes and gained a lot of new knowledge and experience in the process, enjoying more during painting. The pleasant university life quickly approached graduation, and the department required each student to complete a graduation project using hyper-realistic painting techniques. The college invited Mr. Yao Qingzhang, a foreign teacher from the United States, to guide us. Before that, I was not familiar with hyper-realistic painting and had only occasionally seen a couple of works in art magazines, which did not leave a very deep impression. Through Mr. Yao's introduction, I gained a more comprehensive understanding of hyper-realistic painting. Watching those works made me feel, and the observation methods, creative process, and outstanding technical skills sparked great interest in me for this art style. For a long time afterward, I frequently used this artistic style to express the real scenes that interested me.
