Features: Do you want to delve into the essence and characteristics of politics, military, and diplomacy in the era of globalization? Do you want to understand tomorrow's war scenarios and future international strategies with a new mindset? The research on the BMD system and its related international relations in this book will bring you new insights. The United States brought BMD to the world, boasting that it brought security, but for the people of the world, it brought the shadows of war and another "Star Wars." BMD made the prospect of human destruction appear closer. Just as the dream of "Star Wars" had just shattered, "Uncle Sam" felt an indescribable fear, as if the entire planet was filled with potential threats against the United States. Thus, it began to meticulously weave a vast net—the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMD). A "Ballistic Missile Defense Program" to develop and deploy systems to intercept short-range and long-range ballistic missiles was subsequently launched. The United States aggressively promotes the BMD program on the European continent while attempting to bring its loyal partner—Japan—into the BMD net in Asia. Meanwhile, some U.S. congress members feverishly advocate selling the Theater Missile Defense System to the Taiwan region, further inflaming the already tense relationship between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
