Features: The Tang Yongtong Selected Works collects twenty-seven essays published by Mr. Tang Yongtong in various newspapers and magazines from 1914 to 1963, primarily arranged in chronological order of their publication. The last two essays in the collection are: Wei and Jin Xuanxue and Literary Theory, which was compiled based on the outline written by Mr. Tang after his passing; and On "Geyi", which was translated from an English manuscript into Chinese. These two essays are included because they propose new research topics. This collection only includes Mr. Tang's essays and does not excerpt from his already published works, as the essays largely represent his academic research achievements from different periods.
