"Health and Wellness" was originally a small column on the "Newspaper Digest's" San Version, which appeared in 1996 during an effort to improve the newspaper's readability, relatability, and service. After its launch, it unexpectedly received a warm welcome from readers. "Newspaper Digest" is a small four-page, four-column tabloid that has been renowned nationwide for over two decades with its slogan "A small newspaper, a vast world; low price, high-quality content." Due to its small format, selecting health and wellness articles required avoiding lengthy pieces, so the selection criteria at the time were brevity and practicality. Perhaps these two qualities allowed readers to obtain relatively useful information in a small space. Some readers praised it as "less is more." As a result, some readers suggested compiling these "less is more" pieces into a book. After the second and third volumes were published, demand was relentless, with multiple printings, and readers still seek them today. Thus, we were unable to stop, and now there is the fourth volume of "Health and Wellness."
