Features: Old Photos specializes in publishing interesting old photographs and related articles, reflecting the survival and development of humanity over the past century. The photos possess a certain level of clarity, with one or several images introducing an event, a person, a local scene, or a fashion trend. The accompanying articles are written around the photos, with no restrictions on genre, including biographies, essays, sketches, and research. Since its inception, Old Photos has become wildly popular both domestically and internationally. By 1997, each issue sold 300,000 copies, making it one of the top ten best-selling books of the year. The series remains highly ( means "best-selling" but is repeated in the original text, so it's kept as is) to this day. By the end of 1999, the publication of Old Photos was ranked by experts and media as one of the 50 major events in China's publishing industry over the past 50 years. A single photo, a piece of nostalgia—Old Photos has been published for five years now. Compiling the previously published collections into four large-volume ( means " edition" but is repeated in the original text, so it's kept as is) is also a way to preserve the history of Old Photos! Under the backdrop of a nostalgic melody echoing memories, you can slowly savor every story, every photo, and every detail, deeply appreciating what we have experienced or not, heard of or not. Let these mist-like memories transcend time and linger in our hearts and minds. Old Photos offers readers not only the lives and scenes of the past but also various perspectives. A single photo, a piece of nostalgia—though it may only narrate the experiences of an individual or a family, seemingly insignificant, it inadvertently reflects the history of a nation, a country ( means "and even" but is repeated in the original text, so it's kept as is).
