"No visit to Lushun is complete without visiting Dalian," Lushun is another major scenic area in Dalian, featuring both the natural harbor of Lushun Military Port and unique natural landscapes such as Snake Island and Bird Island, which are collectively known as the "Kingdom of Vipers." The Jinshitan National Tourist Resort, Zhuanghe Binyu Scenic Area, Hainanjiu Island Scenic Area, and Lianhua Lake Tourist Area are also well-developed with distinctive features. The main attraction in Lushun is not the sea but the mountains. The region is abundant in mountains with whimsical names like White Jade Mountain, Golden Mountain, and Silver Mountain, each more stunning than the last. Additionally, there are unique towers such as the White Jade Pagoda, Victory Pagoda, and Friendship Pagoda, each with its own charm.
Dalian's social and cultural life is vibrant, earning it the renowned titles of "Clothing City," "Football City," and "Tourism City." Every May, when the locust trees bloom in full splendor, the city further embodies the enchanting charm of the "Locust Flower City."
